Notting Hill

It's late and I want to go to sleep, so yeah, I'll write in English. I'll do it minimally though, so it doesn't look as if I'm trying to discriminate. (I know what you think. Yeah, it's horrible, but English comes to me more easily these days.)

Another Tube ride, this time to Notting Hill! This was on Sunday August 7th and the last day that Claudia was spending in London.

More fun and colourful shops! Less money in my wallet!

The cutest house in London. Or at least, the cutest I've seen.

Yes, sir.

Notting Hill is a charming neighbourhood. It's got a nice, lively feeling about it. It's as colourful as Camden but it's... homey, it's comfy, snug. Gemütlich, the Germans would say, I guess.

I never get tired of those brickhouses.

There's a bunch of antique shops. If I ever live in the UK, my flat is going to be FULL of it.

Don't you want to live in a place like that?

Or even better... In the yellow or purple house!

And then, Claudia had to leave. We tried to go somewhere else. The Tube station was closed. We took the bus, which was fun. We stopped at Paddington. Got out at Queensway. And then, it started raining awfully. And we had lunch at Burger King and McDonald's respectively, which is the kind of things that happen when Claudia and I hang out together.

And then she left. And I cried because I hate having friends who live far away from me and who I can only see once a year for a few days.

Ciao bella!! I miss you and look forward seeing you as soon as I can!!
