D'autres photos du TEFL Lab / More pics of the TEFL Lab

More pics of my school and its surroundings...

The computer room is always crowded. It's where the tension starts building up and people print their materials in the morning or during lunch break.

The printer. You love it when it's working. When it's not, you're not sure whether you want to kick it or start crying because your lesson is starting in 5 minutes and you're waiting for your copies.

Another room in which we're having or giving lessons. I quite like the Union Jack in this one.

The same room. The ceilings are high. It's a beautiful building, really.

A view on Bloomsbury Square.

That's the street two blocks away from the TEFL Lab where we usually go to get lunch. I'm gradually eating at every place on that street.

Ryman made so much money with us. We kept going back in the first week to buy dividers and stuff like that.

TESCO is the place for the 2-quid sandwiches. It's cheap. It's edible. Still, you get tired of it very quickly.
Prêt À Manger is a little bit more upmarket but still affordable. You can get away from there with a 5-quid receipt.
There is also this small place called Sticklers, owned by an awfully nice man. Once, I didn't have enough money and couldn't pay by card. I went to Barclay's but the cash machine wasn't working. I went back to Sticklers, where the man had put my stuff aside. I told him to put it back on the shelves as I hadn't been able to withdraw any money. He let me get the food and told me to come back the next day with money.
You can buy potato jackets at Sticklers. I had one with spicy chicken. It's better than it sounds and looks like.

The other side of the street.
